We organised an interactive workshop titled “Postcards to the Future: Hope in the Time of Species Extinction” on November 9, 2025, at the FORUM of Berlin Science Week at Holzmarkt 25 in Berlin.
Using camera trap videos from the Mt. Mantalingahan Protected Landscape in the Palawan Biosphere Reserve, Philippines, as inspiration, the participants created their own postcards through illustrations and collages to envision shared futures for endangered species. The workshop concluded with a sharing session of the visual narratives, highlighting both the participants’ ecological connectedness and their hopes and aspirations for wildlife survival.
