Our latest perspective paper in Discover Conservation explores the application of conservation genetics methods in Philippine pangolin research, and calls for more integrative approach in Philippine pangolin research and conservation.
We argue that the application of conservation genetics should translate into Philippine pangolin conservation outcomes through expanding the unit of analysis from the molecular to the landscape level, integrating adaptive and complementary research methods, and developing or strengthening of strategic multi-sectoral collaboration.
The paper is part of the Special Issue on Science-based solutions to conserve pangolins.
